Apologies if this has come up before on this forum. I've only
recently found this group and couldn't find any reference to my
question in a search.

My question is, I've found some deep sky objects in Guide 7
( mostly galaxies ) have different magnitude read-outs when you go in
and out on zoom screens.
It was anything up to a magnitude difference, generally getting
brighter as I zoom out.

Is this normal ...if so why ??
How do you fix it if not ??

I was printing out charts of different objects and I didn't know what
magnitude to give them !!!
