Hi Bill,

With the updated beta (7b) software, I have a problem with my Legend Window. It has to do with the button selections for "left", "center", and "right" positioning for the legend. The "right" positioning button is displaced upwards and is sitting over where the word "Top" should be. I am using Guide with an 800 by 600 monitor resolution. I have not had a chance to check out the rest of the program yet, but if I notice any more unintented "features" I will let you know.

Hi folks, Bold citizens may wish to try out an update to Guide, now described and posted (32-bit Windows software only so far) at http://www.projectpluto.com/new2.htm It's posted here so people can give it a try and confirm (or deny) that I got things right. This includes items such as display of time/date labels on planet trails (see, I really do pay attention to this list!); toolbar tips; better installation to the hard drive; and some other very minor functions and bug fixes. The improvements to installation to the hard drive involved some major changes inside Guide. So I'm hoping a few of you will test this out and confirm that I'm correct in thinking that it all runs as it should. Once that happens, I'll move it over to the "usual" update site and revise the Web pages accordingly. -- Bill
