Re: [guide-user] Updated software posted

Hi Bill-
No luck with the new "install to hard drive" option. I downloaded both of
the zips just now and the option is enabled but there doesn't seem to be any
drive activity from the CD-R drive. I even went so far as to remove my
previous installation of Guide and re-install from scratch but still, no
joy.

The wrinkle I have that may be related is there are four drives in my
system, two hard drives, a CD-R, and a DVD-R drive. I checked the
startup.mar file and the RealCD line is pointing to the correct drive (i.e.
it doesn't seem to have been tripped up) so I'm at a loss.

Just thought you might find it useful....

Regards (and anxiously awaiting GUIDE 8!),
Bill Dean
