    While there are several reasons why the sun should not be exactly at 180 degrees azimuth at noon EST, the most significant is probably the fact that your location is so far from the center of the time zone.  Try changing your location to 75 degrees west longitude, and the sun will probably be within a few degree of 180.

I just noticed something weird. I did GOTO Sun. It is about local noon here so I think the AZ should be near 180 deg. Guide shows 152 deg. My location is entered correctly (W85.5, N34.98). The time zone is EST. and the time says 12:01. Where have I gone wrong?
