Re: [guide-user] TLE Fetch Endless Loop

Hi Scott,

I think you'll find that when you run Guide and attempt to
do a download (of artificial satellite data or of updated comet
data), it'll work Just Fine.

'tear2' is not really meant to be run by the user. (If you
run it, you'll get exactly the sort of 'debug.txt' file you're
describing.) Instead, Guide runs it whenever it needs data
via the Internet.

You won't do any actual _harm_ if you run 'tear2', but (as
you found out) you won't actually accomplish anything either.

While looking through the older topics I found the new file that Bill linked to pertaining the change in MPC target to https which seems to have solved the issue. Not sure why though. Thanks Bill. https://www.projectpluto.com/tear2.exe
