There is a bit of a problem with this procedure - the next time you download the
soft cmt file again the numbers will revert back to the original magnitude.

I instead carefully copy the appropriate line from the "soft02cm.txt" and paste it
into "usrcomet.txt" and change the H and G values and change the name by adding a
letter to distinguish it from the original. You need to add the letter to the end
of the bracketed designation i.e. "P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova (45PB)". You also need
to add one to the number of entries in the file.

Then when the event is over just delete the entry from the "usrcomet.txt" file
using the "edit comet/Asteroid" button in the "Asteroid/Comet option" in the Extra tab.
Bill recommends using this last procedure to enter the orbital elements into the
"usrcomet.txt" file so you have to alter only the name as I did with my method. And
less chance of an error.
