Bill,

I think I have sorted out my Red Mode Problem. It seems that it is
interaction between Guide and MaxIm DL both running in red mode.
Running only Guide in red makes only portions of MaxIm red and running
only it in red does not make Guide stars red. So I need to run both in
red mode to kill whites. That seems to cause the problem.
