Hi,

I installed Guide 9.0 from the DVD and then unzipped the Dec 2015 Guide 9.1 into the installation folder. The comet automatic update now appears to work ok. Also the title bar says Guide 9.1.

I had previously just copied the installed folder Guide9 (from my external hard disc backup) to my pc and then updated it to the Dec 2015 Guide 9.1. I think the title mismatch was the clue. I guess some file went astray.

Just to muddy the waters, UCAC4 now works! (It refused to work before despite lots of coaxing).

Bob, try reinstalling Guide from the DVD.
