Here is an old post from Bill Gray that you might find informative:

From: "Bill J. Gray" <pluto@p...>
Date: Tue Jan 30, 2001 4:41pm
Subject: Ax.0 in Charon/corrupted GUIDE.DATs
About using Ax.0 data from the hard drive in Charon: I
added this a
while back. But I just checked, and the CHARON.ZIP on the
site was
pretty elderly. I've just replaced it with a current
version; download
this, and select "Using A2.0" (or "Using A1.0"), and Charon
will slurp
up Ax.0 data using the A20_PATH (or A10_PATH) line from
GUIDE.DAT.

-- Bill

Make sure that the date for Charon is Jan 30 2001 not 2000. The size of
the zip file is 275 KB. The date modified for the charon.exe file is 11
NOV 2000 but I don't think that Bill posted it until 30 JAN 2001.

I hope this helps.

Good MP hunting.
