Just to inform you about what I am doing for the time bring: There is this nice old little bilingual (French/English) program called NGiC, written by two Canadians, which allows to draw a list of observable objects by giving in a frame limited by R.A. and Decl. Co-ordinates.
But this reqires to copy over the edge-cordinates of your Guide screen.
