My friend uses the program OCCULT for calculation of asteroids occultations.
This program uses this database (Lowell). He has asked me to draw with GUIDE
a maps of predicted occultations. А GUIDE gives absolutely other data.
Probably, it because of a difference in "freshness" of asteroids database. I
would like to make calculations of both programs on the same database.
Unfortunately, available on the www.projectpluto.com
(http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/iau/Ephemerides) information contains the data
only for several asteroids.
Tomorrow I shall try to connect other database
(ftp://cfa-ftp.harvard.edu/pub/MPCORB/mpcorb.dat)
