I use the file "usrcomet.txt" to enter any comet that I want to change the
brightness of.
I use a text editor to get the latest element for the particular comet out of the
file "soft02cm.txt" (***carefully*** copy only the line you want). Then paste it
into the file "usrcomet.txt" above the line (new asteroid). Then there are three
things you should/must do.
1 I change the name by adding a "b" to the end of the comets name to make it
identifiable from original comet. i.e I change the comet Panstarrs C/2014 S2 to
Panstarrs C/2014 S2b.
2 Then you can alter the brightness by juggling the last two numbers in the edited
line.
3 Then you have to change the first line in the "usrcomet.txt" file to indicate the
number of objects in the file --Change 0 to 1, if you add one comet.
This way you have two icons in one location -- click on "next" button to id second
comet.

When you open "Go to comet" click on the individual headings and file is sorted as
you wish, ascending or another click, descending.
