I am having the same problem.
I went directly to the MPC website and downloaded the updated *soft02Cmt.txt* file
and all is ok but auto download still not fixed.

I looked in the file *add_mpc.hee* and see that the URL is not exactly the same,
(.org* is replaced with *net*). I changed it but didn't fix problem. ???

A more knowledgeable friend may look into it.
