Re: [guide-user] Notes/star colors/clearing Ax.0

More indications,

This problem only appears when isophotes are within a certain distance from
the screen edge. I found also that if the ground is turn on, it resolved the
problem as long as the ground is in the window. As soon as I moved up the
stars changed again but only if isophotes area close enough. It seems to be
related to memory not being refresh.

I made attempts with older drivers. Firs I removed all traces of my newest
driver, installed old one and found it worked. The sad part is that in other
program, the system failed, ie directx 7 locked my system on test. With a
different but also older driver, Guide worked but again on a directx test,
video image failed and I was left with a garbage screen. I also tried
directx 6
and 8 with the same results on these drivers. With ME driver, Guide gives me
this problem but everything else in my system work fine, directx test
included. The problem is not present when in a 32 bit mode. I forgot to
mentioned that I tried in 256 colour and I got the same results.

My last attempt was to reload Guide. Believe or not I got the exact same
problem with a new install. I don't which one is faulty, Guide or my driver.
This is the only available ME driver from Creative labs for this card.

Puzzled!
