Larry, I upgraded my Guide8 to Guide9 today, the Atlas I showed you and your Canadian friend, if you want a copy let me know. It requires no License but requires 1.58GB disk space including the HTML Guide8 User's Manual/Help.

Just bring over a Thumb Drive and I'll give you an exact copy of my running Guide9 already setup as you saw it. With a light modification you can even run Guide from the Thumb Drive itself, "everything" is contained within the Guide's Directory - "nothing" is spread across the rest of the HD.

Hmmm? About your MAC, Guide9 requires the use of Wine OS/X, or other MAC pgms that will run Windoz pgms, or Lunix.

You can run a telescope via Guide but I've only set it up once a loooong time ago. Marty Moyer uses Guide to run his 'PushTo' all the time, he should be able to help you there...joe :)

Hi Clay,

Yes, this will work with the Guide 8 disks. I updated both the 'guide9.zip'
file (for Guide 9) and the 'guide9_8.zip' file (the one you, Harrie, and others with Guide 8 would use.)

For that matter, I _think_ you can use the 'guide9_8.zip' file with Guide _7_. But I'd be really careful about backing everything up before I tried it.
