Sorry, a couple more questions about this bug...

that the issue happens after doing Overlays -> Edit Overlay -> (Create New
Overlay). I gather that the crash happens immediately after clicking on
'Create New Overlay', then 'OK'?

After you click OK, Guide should ask you to 'Enter new overlay name:'.
I gather you never reach that point?

Could you send me the files 'overlay.nam' and 'z.nam' from your Guide
folder, and a list of your .ove files? I am guessing that there's something
about the overlays you have, and their names, that is causing this bug.
Since I don't have those overlays with those names, I'm not getting the
same bug.
