Lunar eclipse bug found, fixed

Bill J. Gray Jan 26, 2001

Hi folks,

Thomas Roehr and Ben Hudgens have both figured out the lunar
eclipse table problem: a while back, I posted a little DOS
program to show the area on the earth covered by a lunar eclipse.
This program is described and posted at

http://www.projectpluto.com/luneclip.htm

It comes with a short data file of pre-computed lunar eclipses,
LUNECLIP.DAT. Problem is, Guide saw this file and decided it could
ignore the (much more extensive) LUNECLIP.DAT file on the Guide CD-ROM.

Therefore, if you have the file LUNECLIP.DAT in your Guide directory,
delete it. If you still want to run the lunar eclipse program, I'd
recommend downloading it again; I've just revised it so that it will
no longer conflict with Guide.
