Right after I send this email, I tried and changed my video display to true
color(32 bit) versus (16 bit) and all worked well. The problem only appears
when using video set to 16 bit. I did not try lower. A typical error was
selecting M1 and then moving away toward SAO 77350. The star color would go
gray, sometimes returning to M1, the stars would go back to white, (not
every times).
Isophotes off, all works well.
Strange!
