RE: [guide-user] LX200 Control

Blair, Grant Oct 7 8:29 AM

I tested this last night with the latest revision of Guide and the LX200 control via COM1 (to my LX200ACF).

Having the Guide radiobutton selected and then pressing any of the N,S,E,W keys resulted in a very slow movement in the specified direction. Pressing the blank button the center stopped the movement – just as I would expect.

So it doesn’t sound like Guide is broken.

Kind Regards/Viele Grüße,

Grant

Hi Roger,

No real idea on this one, just some questions:

How about other aspects of Guide control? Is this the only
thing that's broken?

Does the 'guide' equivalent on the handset still work?

I gather there are no error messages, either from Guide
or from the telescope's handset?
