"Pseudo-MPEC" for Hayabusa 2
Created 2015 Jan 3 2:00:07 UT using Find_Orb
This object was found at (F51) PanSTARRS, designated as P10gJfF. It was then accidentally designated as asteroid 2014 XX39 on MPEC 2015-A02. However, if you look at the geocentric flyby elements, they look exactly like an object departing from low-earth orbit at the right altitude at the right time; there is no real question as to the identification.
